About The Mountain Life Podcast

Maybe you’re thinking of trading in your professional career for something that is much more nomadic and adventurous. For some of us, life isn’t driving in the fast lane rather, driving on a windy mountain road on the edge of a cliff. Sound appealing?

We feature people who are living, working or playing in the Bow Valley. Most are like you. They traded in a “normal” suburban life for a Land Cruiser and backpack. Learn how they’re making it happen in Alberta’s beautiful Rocky Mountains.

I'm Jason

I moved to the Bow Valley after years of visiting Canmore for over 15 years to play. The Mountain Life Podcast started as an experiment for me. It was a way for me to get to know my fellow Canmorites and to learn how to work with audio. I ended up loving it and got a ton of support from my coworking colleagues (e=mc²) to keep going. Thanks for joining us on this journey!

“Meet the most interesting people in the Bow Valley.”

Get on the Show

The Mountain Life Podcast covers the interesting stories of work and play in the Bow Valley,
Canmore, and Banff National Park.

Each episode of Mountain Life is a 30-minute, interview style format featuring interesting people
who are living or passing through the region. We release two episodes per month.

We cover a range of topics but try to focus on three main themes —
work life, family life and outdoor adventures in the great Canadian Rockies.
